Markaz Knowledge City Hosts International Social Responsibility Summit

A groundbreaking project aimed at preserving invaluable ancient manuscripts has been launched at the Malaibar Foundation for Research and Development. Partnering with the renowned Hill Museum &amp; Manuscript Library (HML) in the United States, the Malaibar-HMLManuscript Digitization Project was inaugurated by Hamad Sami Husain Rashid Alfadl Al-Dausari of Bahrain.In the event chaired by Dr.Muhammad Abdul Hakkim Azhari at Malaibar Headquarters, Ali Nasar Hamad Al Mahrouqi was the chief guest. The two-year project in its initial phase will digitize manuscripts from South Indian regions including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Lakshadweep, and Andaman. Employing cutting-edge technology, the project aims to digitally preserve and protect these ancient manuscripts, often found in libraries, Masjids, institutions, and private homes. Once digitized, the manuscripts will be made freely accessible to the global community through a dedicated HML website. The officials at Malaibar said that the&nbsp;project will help safeguard the rapidly deteriorating ancient manuscripts of Malaibar and made easily available to scholars, researchers and students worldwide.&nbsp; The project also includes plans for a world-class manuscript center, which will be the centerpiece of the upcoming library and research center at the Markaz Knowledge City's cultural complex. This new facility, once completed, will serve as a dedicated space for the preservation and study of ancient manuscripts. Moreover, the organizers have extended an invitation to individuals in possession of private manuscript collections. By contacting the Malaibar Manuscript Department, owners of these valuable artifacts can seek assistance in their preservation.&nbsp; Several dignitaries graced the occasion, including Rohan Chauhan, the Assistant Field Director of HML for South Asia, Adv. Dr. Abdul Salam Mohammed, CEO of Markaz Knowledge City, represented the institution at an international conference held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Salam was a speaker at the 22nd annual international Sustainability conference of the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD), a UK-based organization.Dr. Abdul Salam's presentation focused on the theme "Developing innovative sustainable smart cities modeled on Markaz Knowledge City." Markaz Knowledge City recently inaugurated a herbal garden located near the Markaz Unani Medical College. The garden features over 250 medicinal plants, enriching the college's resources and promoting environmental awareness. The dedication ceremony was led by prominent figures including Dr. Abdul Salam Muhammad (CEO of Markaz Knowledge City), Adv. As part of the International Environment Day celebrations, a Miyawaki forest was inaugurated at Markaz Knowledge City. This Miyawaki forest, established in the Landmark Village, includes over thirty five plus species of trees and plants. The forest, rich in medicinal plants and fruit trees, was developed in two years. Various species such as Palakkappayyani, Oonga, Banyan, Rudraksha, Mangosteen, different types of berries, Maruthu, Elamangalom, and Karinechi have been planted in the Miyawaki forest. The forest offers a unique experience for the residents of Landmark Village in Knowledge City. Dr. Nizam Rahman, Nooruddin Mustafa Nooraani, Shabeerali Illikkal, Muhammed Thahir, Dr. K.C. Skill Development Centre Inaugurated at the City

Knowledge City: Dr. Muhammad Murshid, An Alumnus of Markaz Unani Medical College bagged first rank in the state for All India Ayush PG Entrance Test (AIAPGET). A native of Puthiyatheru, Kannur, Murshid secured 56th rank on All India basis and 26th rank in OBC category. It is remarkable that this achievement was achieved in his first attempt. Murshid is a first batch student of Markaz Unani Medical College, Kerala's first Unani Medical College situated at Markaz Knowledge City.This is the first time in the history of Kerala that a person studied from a college in Kerala has topped the All-India AYUSH PG Entrance Test. Abdul Hakkim Azhari, Chairman of Malaibar Foundation and Muhammed Shadid, Executive Manager of Tabah Foundation signed the MoU at Tabah Foundation’s headquarters at Cairo, Egypt. It was also mutually agreed to conduct research and publication projects, seminars and workshops on various contemporary and traditional issues. Dr. Abdul Hakkim Azhari said that the MoU with the Tabah Foundation, which implements various projects in various social, humanitarian and scientific fields such as world peace, Sufism, and prophetic history, will be instrumental in new contributions in these fields of study.

On December 14, the whole Markaz Knowledge City family observed World Energy Conservation Day in the presence of numerous political leaders, LSG representatives and many other government officials. Dr. Abdussalam Muhammad emphasised the importance of energy conservation in such a polluted world and explained how Markaz Knowledge City will be instrumental in annihilating pollution by promoting solar energy consumption. Dr. Hamza Anchumukkil, Managing Director, Hoger Technologies and Innovations introduced a handful of gadgets that can be run on solar energy with less tie and power consumption.

World Energy conservation day observed at City

World Institute for Research and Advanced Sciences organised the third edition of Meem, The popular hundred poets commune on the panegyric poems on prophetic life. The first Meem poetry prize was awarded by Shaikh Abubakr Ahmad to Kalpatta Narayanan for his Malayalam poem 'Pravachakanod’. The two-day programme inaugurated by Shaikh Abubakr Ahmad witnessed poems of many prominent poets from various parts of the state like Alankode Leelakrishnan, Sebastian, Vimeesh Maniyoor,&nbsp;Pradeep Ramanattukara, Sumesh Krishnan, RAheem Ponnad, Kanesh Poonoor, K.T Sooppi, Shaukath Ali khan, Veeran Kutty, Majeed Ariyalloor, Thasleem Koodaranji, Bakkar Kallod, Althaf Pathinarungal, Basheer Moolivayal, Shahjahan Orumanayoor, Muneer Agragami, Unaise Kalpakancheri, Kunjabdulla Thacholi, Naina Mannancheri, Naufal Panangad, Abdullah Perambra, Hakeem Veliyath and many others.
